Suflor Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Suflor is built so that your content never has to leave your phone. This page explains what the app does with your data.
What Suflor processes on your device
- Video and audio recordings are captured with your camera and microphone and stored only in the app's private storage on your device. You can delete them at any time from Settings → Storage.
- Speech recognition is used to scroll the teleprompter and to generate captions. Recognition runs entirely on-device. If on-device recognition is unavailable for your device or language, voice tracking and automatic captions are unavailable; the teleprompter can still scroll at a fixed speed. Suflor does not fall back to server-based speech recognition.
- Script, title and hashtag generation uses Apple Intelligence. On iOS 27 or later, eligible devices may send the text needed for advanced generation to Apple Foundation Models on Private Cloud Compute. Apple states that PCC processes requests only to produce the response and does not store the submitted data. When PCC is unavailable, Suflor falls back to the on-device model or local templates. Your video and audio recordings are never sent to PCC, Suflor, or a third-party AI provider.
- Creator profile (name, niche, audience) and app settings are stored locally in the app's preferences.
What Suflor does not do
- No account is required and none is created.
- Suflor does not operate its own content servers. We do not collect, sell or share your videos, scripts, voice, or profile. Text sent to Apple PCC is handled as described above.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are included.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Suflor receives only an anonymous entitlement status from Apple to unlock Pro features. We never see your payment details.
